Wow!  What  a great morning I just finished my first card class at the Plainfield Public Library!

We had such a great time.  There were about 25 ladies and we each made 4 cards.   We did two Birthday, a Get Well,  and a thank you card.

I want to send out a special thank you out to the Plainfield Public Library for hosting this event and to Therese Chaves for coordinating the event.

I found an inexpensive journal at a local craft shop.  It was under $1.00.  I added a ribbon for a page marker and embellished the front and I gave this to one of my hostesses fro a pretty little hostess gift.  She just loved it!

These beautiful favor boxes cost just under .75 cents each to make!  Each one is made with one half of an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock.  You get 2 favors per page.  Embellishments include designs cut from Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper.  Butterflies from beautiful wings embosslits.  Fill with Hershey's kisses and finish off with Whisper White Satin Ribbon ( 5/8"), Basic Pearls, buttons, and the oval punch with what ever sentiment you desire.

BRRRRRR

BRRRR it is cold in Chicago today!  I am trying to stay warm and work on my paper crafting today.  I am also working on my plans for my Girls Night Out.  I am having a group of ladies together to enjoy a little wine some yummy appetizers and making Valentines for their family and friends  I am sure we will have a great time!  In future posts I will share recipes and ideas for you to have your own Girls Night Out !
